The flexible light band sits across your forehead, with an elastic strap around the back. Adjust it before starting so the light stays where you want it.
- Start level. Place the front strip across your forehead, clear of your eyes.
- Adjust the strap. Tighten until secure without uncomfortable pressure.
- Check before moving. Turn your head and make sure it feels stable.
Wearing it over a hat? Recheck the fit. Compatibility with a particular helmet depends on its shape and fittings.

Ask the Ovalira team βWhat's the difference between the front strip and the side light?
The curved COB strip spreads light over a broad nearby area. The round side spotlight gives a more concentrated beam. Use the main control to choose the lighting mode for your task.
Does the wave sensor change every lighting mode?
No. Use the buttons to select your mode, then enable the sensor for on/off control with a nearby hand movement. The sensor is separate from the mode control.
What if the wave sensor doesn't respond?
Check that the lamp is charged and sensor mode is enabled. Keep the sensor clear, then pass your hand close to it. You can switch sensor mode off and use the buttons. Contact us if it still doesn't respond.
How do I adjust the fit?
Position the front strip level across your forehead and adjust the rear elastic strap until secure and comfortable. Check the fit as you move your head. Recheck it when wearing over a hat.
Is it rechargeable, and how long does a charge last?
Yes, it has a built-in battery and USB-C charging. Approximate runtime is 3β8 hours depending on mode, brightness, battery condition and use. Charge and check your light before heading out.
Can I use it in the rain?
It is rated IPX4 for splash resistance. It is not designed for submersion. Keep the charging area dry, and do not charge the light while wet.
Are all the set sizes the same headlamp?
Yes. The set sizes change how many headlamps and carry cases you receive. The product and available colours are the same.
Can I mix Black, Orange and Pink in one set?
Yes. Choose a colour for each light in the purchase panel, or use βSet all toβ to select one colour for the entire set. Your individual colour choices are recorded with the order.
How many carry cases will I receive?
One per headlamp: 1 light includes 1 case; 2 include 2; 3 include 3; and 5 include 5. Each case is included at no extra charge.
Which sets include free shipping?
The 3- and 5-headlamp sets include free shipping. Shipping options for smaller sets, delivery eligibility and the delivery estimate are shown at checkout.
What does quantity 1 in my cart mean?
It means one complete set of the size you selected. For example, quantity 1 of the 3-headlamp option means 3 headlamps and 3 carry cases in total.
